Interpreting from Macedonian into German (B) and vice versa 2

Course targets: developing the skills for interpretation of verbal texts with grading by the level of complexity. Further development of the skills introduced in the previous semester course. Types of consecutive interpretation. Conference interpretation. Listening, concentration, understanding, assessment, structuring, memorizing and rendering the verbal source text from German into Macedonian. Inter-language and intercultural transfer that is correct by meaning, style and grammar. Focusing on the relevant content parts and compressing. Expression exercises. Enrichment of vocabulary and general knowledge. Bidirectional consecutive interpretation with note-taking. Exercising the development of the note-taking technique. Handling difficult situations. Fast speaking, incomprehensible terms or text parts etc. Integrating note-taking into the interpretation process. Articulation: breathing, voice, intonation.
