Methods of Teaching Literature 1, 2

  1. The course covers the teaching methodology in an interdisciplinary context: relations with corresponding fields; literary science as a function of the methodology of teaching literature; literature as a course and its structure; the literature class; a class – a teaching situation; class structuring; types of classes; an overview of methodological systems; forms of teaching.
  2. The course covers methodical applications: simulated classes in order to acquire the methodological foundations and models of reception and interpretation of various types of course contents: the methodological premises of teaching the interpretation of a lyric poem/poem cycle, of an epic poem, of narrative prose, of dramatic texts; the methodological premises of teaching the interpretation of course contents pertaining to literary history and theory.
