LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY CERTIFICATE
Blaže Koneski Faculty of Philology in Skopje provides language proficiency testing in Macedonian, Albanian, Turkish, Slovene, Serbian, Croatian, English, German, French, Russian, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Czech, and Hungarian.
TWO TYPES OF LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TESTS
The testing for language proficiency in Macedonian and in a foreign language (without a specified
level) is performed through an oral exam.
The fee for this test is 2,200 MKD.

Note: For foreign nationals interested in enrolling in the first cycle of studies at UKIM, a passed
TEMAK test is required. It is a certificate of proficiency in Macedonian as a Foreign/Second Language.

The testing for language proficiency in a foreign language according to the Common European
Framework of Reference for Languages of the Council of Europe (CEFR) is performed through a
written and oral exam.
The fee for this test is 3,000 denars.

In addition to the testing fee, candidates should submit a receipt for the payment of an
administrative fee of 50 denars. You can find an example of the payment slip HERE HERE
The payment should be made before signing up at the given link, as you will be required to attach
the payment slip to the application form. You should submit the original payment slips to the
professor on the day of the exam.
Registration: Interested candidates choose which of the offered exam dates suit them best and
register electronically no later than the deadline for registration date for that term (applications
received after the registration deadline will be valid for the next exam date, see table below).

Registration is done with a Gmail address, by filling out the application form at the following LINK:
On the day of the exam, candidates must carry a personal identification document
(identity card or passport) with them.
The certificate is issued within two working days after the exam, and it can be picked up at the
Archive of the Faculty from 14:00 to 15:00.
Candidates who have not passed the test or have not achieved the level they need,
can take the test again after 4 months have passed.
