„Интеракција со толкувачи во транзитни зони за бегалци: градење на капацитети и подигнување на свеста во контекст на високото образование“ (акроним на проектот: РеТранс)

СТРАТЕШКИ ПАРТНЕРИ

УКИМ, односно Филолошкиот факултет „Блаже Конески“ – Скопје (ФлФ) во соработка со Факултетот за драмски уметности – Скопје (ФДУ), е стратешки партнер во ЕУ-проектот „ReTrans“ (времетраење: 24 месеци, 1.5.2021 – 30.4.2023) поддржан од Еразмус+ програмата. Носител на проектот е Универзитетот во Виена кој е препознатлив по својата меѓународна академска афирмација на полето на теоријата и на практиката на толкувањето. Покрај УКИМ, стратешки ЕУ-партнери во „ReTrans“ се:

– Универзитетот во Виена (Universität Wien / University of Vienna), Р Австрија, носител на проектот;
– Дунавскиот универзитет Кремс (Donauuniversität Krems / Danube University Krems), Р Австрија;
– Универзитетот во Марибор (Univerza v Mariboru / University of Maribor), Р Словенија и
– Јонскиот универзитет, Крф (Ιόνιο Πανεπιστήμιο / Ionian University, Corfu), Р Грција.

ЦЕЛИ НА ПРОЕКТОТ

Надредената цел на проектот е подигнување на свеста кај академската фела и кај надлежните институции за предизвиците и спецификите на толкувањето во контекст на хуманитарната и прекуграничната миграција, како и да придонесе за диверзификација на дидактичките материјали преку развивање разновидни едукативни алатки.

Проектот е одговор на дефицитарната академска инфраструктура на помалку популарната толкувачка насока, т.е. Толкувањето за јавните служби со фокус на интеракциите во транзитните зони за бегалци при истовремено голема побарувачка на пазарот на трудот во речиси сите земји учеснички во овој проект. Оваа констатација се однесува пред сѐ на земјите учеснички во овој проект што се наоѓаат на јужниот раб од Балканската рута, т.е. Северна Македонија и Грција, но и на оние земји учеснички во коишто главно се слеваат миграциските егзодуси, Австрија и Словенија. Имајќи ја предвид комплексноста на оваа проблематика од светски размери, проектот не претендира целосно да ги надмине недостатоците, туку да даде, низ призмата на академскиот пристап, свој придонес кон култивацијата на овие дефицитарни структури.

Стратешкото партнерство на петте транснационални универзитетски центри вклучени во овој проект има цел да подготви лесно пристапна дигитална платформа со најсовремени едукативни алатки место досегашните конвенционални прирачници, со цел опфаќање широк круг корисници (професори и студенти, претставници од владиниот и од невладиниот сектор, толкувачи професионалци, но и лаици, бегалци и други што се засегнати). Со помош на иновативни методологии и технологии за едукација на кадри и за дисеминација на знаење ќе се промовираат подкасти, водкасти, едукасти и симулации на автентични толкувачки интеракции.

СТРУКТУРА НА ПРОЕКТОТ И ОЧЕКУВАНИ РЕЗУЛТАТИ

Проектот е главно структуриран во четири работни фази, односно во „работни пакети“ со јасно дефинирани резултати и надлежности на вклучените универзитети партнери.

– Прва фаза (надлежност: Јонски универзитет – Крф)
Цели: изготвување извештај врз основа на анкета спроведена за потребите и предизвиците при комуникацијата во транснационалните миграциски контексти.

– Втора фаза (надлежност: УКИМ)
Цели: продукција на подкасти и водкасти врз основа на интервјуа (прашалник, превод, титлување) со инволвираните учесници во интеракцијата (толкувачи, претставници од владиниот и од невладиниот сектор, бегалци, мигранти).

– Трета фаза (надлежност: Универзитет во Марибор)
Цели: продукција на едукасти, т.е. едукативни видеа врз основа на автентичните сознанија од втората фаза во коишто ќе се прикаже соодветното и / или несоодветното „прекугранично / хуманитарно толкување“.

– Четврта фаза (надлежност: Универзитет во Виена и Универзитет во Кремс)
Цели: симулации на автентични толкувачки ситуации со примена на елементи на игра, т.е. гејмификација, врз основа на сознанијата од претходните фази.

Интердисциплинарниот пристап, не само што ќе го унапреди дијалогот меѓу транслатолозите и експертите од полето на дигитализацијата и гејмификацијата туку и дијалогот меѓу високото образование и практичарите на терен, кои се препуштени главно сами на себе.

АКАДЕМСКИ ТИМ ЗА ИМПЛЕМЕНТАЦИЈА

Академскиот тим за имплементација на проектот од страна на Филолошкиот факултет „Блаже Конески“ – Скопје (ФлФ) е во состав: проф. д-р Силвана Симоска (раководител), проф. д-р Татјана Панова-Игњатовиќ (член) и проф. д-р Мирјана Алексоска-Чкатроска (член), во соработка со група студенти од прв, втор и од трет циклус студии. Овој „филолошко-транслатолошки тим“ се надградува со експертизата на ред. проф. м-р Лазар Секуловски од ФДУ – Скопје, во придружба на студентска екипа од сите три циклуси, кому ќе му бидат доверени ингеренциите за снимањето и за постпродукциската дигитална обработка на подкастите, водкастите и дел од едукастите.

STRATEGIC PARTNERS

Ss. CYRIL AND METHODIUS UNIVERSITY IN SKOPJE (UKIM), more precisely, “Blaze Koneski” Faculty of Philology in cooperation with the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, are the strategic partners in the „ReTrans“ Project (duration: 24 months, 1.5.2021 30.4.2023), supported by the Erasmus+ programme. The project’s leader is the University of Vienna, which is renowned for its international academic affirmation in the field of the theory and practice of interpretation. In addition to UKIM, strategic partners in “ReTrans” are the following universities:

– Universität Wien/University of Vienna, Austria, leader of the project
– Donauuniversität Krems/Danube University Krems, Austria
– Univerza v Mariboru/University of Maribor, Slovenia
– Ιόνιο Πανεπιστήμιο/Ionian University, Corfu, Greece

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

The main project objective is to raise awareness among higher education institutions and stakeholders in the interpretation domain regarding the multifarious challenges of interpreting across borders within humanitarian contexts. The project’s second complementary aim is to develop a range of educational tools that would contribute to the diversification of existing didactic materials.

The project will address the deficient academic infrastructure in Public Service Interpreting (PSI), a less popular field in the practice of interpretation that focuses on the cross-cultural interactions in transit zones among refugees. There is a particularly high demand for qualified public service interpreters in the labour market of the countries participating in this project. The countries concerned are primarily located on the southern edge of the Western Balkan Route, such as North Macedonia and Greece. However, some are situated along northern migration routes, serving as host and reception countries, namely Austria and Slovenia. Taking into account the complexity of the above challenges on a global level, the project does not claim to completely overcome the problems but limits itself to contribute to the mitigation of these deficient structures through the prism of an academic approach.

The strategic partnership of the five transnational university centers involved in this project aims to prepare an open-access online platform with state-of-the-art educational tools instead of conventional handbooks, to cover a wide range of users (professors and students, representatives from governmental institutions and non-governmental organizations, professional and non-trained interpreters (lay interpreters), refugees, etc.). Using innovative methodologies and technologies for personal education and knowledge dissemination, podcasts, vodcasts, educasts, and simulations of authentic interpreting interactions will be promoted.

PROJECT STRUCTURE AND RESULTS

The project is structured into four main working phases, i.e. “work packages” with clearly defined outcomes and responsibilities of the partner universities involved. These different phases are strongly interconnected, with content from earlier phases being used and integrated into the activities and results of the later phases.

– First phase (within the competence of the Ionian University – Corfu)
Objectives: preparation of a report based on a survey conducted on the needs and challenges of communication in transnational migration contexts.

– Second phase (within the competence of the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM)
Objectives: Production of a series of podcasts and vodcasts based on the results of the needs analysis phase and follow-up interviews with stakeholders involved in the interaction (interpreters, governmental and non-governmental sector representatives, refugees, migrants), focusing on the demands of interpreting in a transnational border context.

– Third phase (within the competence of the University of Maribor)
Objectives: Production of educasts, i.e. educational videos based on authentic findings from the second phase in which the appropriate and inappropriate transborder/humanitarian interpreting will be shown.

– Fourth phase (within the competence of the University of Vienna and the Danube University Krems)
Objectives: Simulations of authentic interpreting situations with the application of elements of games, i.e. gamification, based on the findings from the previous phases.

The interdisciplinary approach will not only promote the dialogue between translatologists and experts in the field of digitalisation and gamification, but also the dialogue between higher education and cross-fertilisation practitioners, who are largely left to themselves.

IMPLEMENTATION TEAM

The academic team for the implementation of the project by the “Blaze Koneski” Faculty of Philology – Skopje consists of Prof. Dr. Silvana Simoska (leader), Prof. Dr. Tatyana Panova-Ignatovikj (member), and Prof. Dr. Mirjana Aleksoska-Chkatroska (member), as well as a group of students of the first, second and third cycle studies. This “philosophical-translatological team” will be professionally accompanied by Prof. Lazar Sekulovski and his team of students from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts – Skopje, who will be involved in the production of the pod/vodcasts and the post-production of some educasts.
